
Software Engineer in Test (Archer GRC)

The Role
At Fidelity, you will have the opportunity to share your technical knowledge to help strengthen our engineering community and further pursue your own learning of new technologies and platforms. We are seeking an Archer GRC QA/ Test Engineer to support testing and quality assurance for enterprise Archer GRC implementations. The role will focus on validating platform configurations, integrations, and workflows across various Archer GRC modules/ solutions in a highly regulated environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong Archer GRC platform expertise to oversee quality assurance activities and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions. This role involves test strategy design, test plan development, coordination with development teams, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required
- Minimum 6+ years of Software Quality Engineering experience
- Develop, document, and execute test cases and scripts for the Archer GRC Framework
- Design and implement test strategies and test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Hands-on experience in Archer GRC and strong understanding of GRC Framework is required
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze requirements and detect potential issues early
- Track test execution progress and manage defect reporting using tools such as JIRA/ XRAY
- Drive process improvements and enhance QA methodologies
- Experience with SDLC, Agile, DevOps Methodologies & Continuous Integration Delivery is preferred
- Passionate and committed to learning new things and testing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
- Work with your agile delivery team, chapter lead and QA team members to understand domain and accelerate their test strategy to enable delivery velocity
- Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time
- Bring a learning mindset to your work and are eager to master and adopt new technologies
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus
- Archer 6.x certified or other technical certifications in GRC is a plus
The Team
Fidelity's Integrated Risk Management Squad is looking for an inquisitive, driven, problem solver to be part of Fidelity’s Legal, Risk & Compliance team. You will be a key contributor supporting the Archer Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform with Fidelity’s Corporate Services Technology team. This will include ensuring support for Agile practices and standardizing the use of tools. This position is committed to continuous and outstanding support during the testing of these applications by gathering and understanding user needs, solving user issues, data security and enabling the standardization across the enterprise.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
