
Specialist Healthcare Strategy Team
Job Summary
The Health Strategy Team Specialist plays a vital role in assisting prospective students by generating excitement and sharing information about the wide range of Health Sciences Pathway programs and the career opportunities in the field. This position focuses on building and sustaining positive relationships with students, parents, school counselors, educators, and community members. Utilizing strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills, the Specialist assists students through the admissions process, offering encouragement and support along the way. A key responsibility includes helping students understand and complete the necessary steps for admission into Health Sciences pathway programs, ensuring they are well-prepared to pursue their academic and career goals.Recruiting
- Serves as a representative and ambassador for the College, focusing on prospective students interested in Health Sciences programs. Provides detailed information about academic programs, campus services, student life, and opportunities for engagement and involvement.
- Educates potential students on Health Sciences program options and guides them through developing an actionable plan for admission into their program of interest. Supports a variety of campus/divisional outreach events, including high school visits, special programming, certificate completion celebrations, and program information sessions. Assists students in navigating the admissions process by helping them complete an admission checklist to prepare for successful entry into their desired Health Sciences pathway
Enrollment Support
- Provides comprehensive guidance on programs of study and the enrollment process, including admission requirements, required documentation, placement testing, academic advising, course selection, registration, and fee payment.
- Collaborates closely with the Admissions Office and other college departments to ensure a seamless transition from interest to enrollment for prospective students. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including teams within Enrollment Management, Student Services, and Academic Affairs. Maintains consistent communication—via phone, email, and other platforms—with prospective students interested in Allied Health programs, offering support and clear direction throughout the pre-enrollment process
Clerical Customer & Service
- Delivers high-quality customer service through multiple communication channels, supporting prospective and first-year students. Performs a range of administrative, clerical, and recordkeeping tasks to ensure the smooth operation of program functions. Responsibilities include scanning documents, managing emails, updating and ordering publications/forms, and maintaining office supplies.
- Oversees and tracks outreach activities, evaluates their effectiveness, and recommends improvements to enhance engagement and enrollment outcomes. Maintains accurate records and completes all required documentation for Health Sciences pathway program admissions, including health records, drug screening, background checks, and other program-specific requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two (2) years of clerical, administrative or customer service.
- Demonstrated experience using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and office equipment.
