American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) offers powerful backing and support that helps companies of all sizes gain financial savings, control and efficiency. We provide a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, cross border payments, global currency solutions, and business financing. The Global Commercial Services Marketing team is responsible for creating an end-to-end marketing strategy for our prospect & customer segments around the world. The Marketing Strategy & Go-to-Market team sits within the GCS Marketing organization. This team spearheads strategic initiatives across GCS for small, medium sized, and global businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the team to create 360-degree go-to-market strategies for top GCS priorities
  • Lead with a blend of thought leadership and results-driven implementation
  • Collaborate & work cross-functionally with marketers, product owners, analytics, finance, risk, and GABM to project manage and coordinate strategic, data-driven insights to develop marketing strategies that will elevate customer experiences and better meet the needs of our customers
  • Proactively communicate marketing progress, timelines, critical updates and upcoming priorities with leaders
  • Focus on bringing value in high priority, strategic territories grounded in shareholder, customer, and Blue Box values

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Project Manager: Coordinate creative, visual identity, positioning and messaging development with creative agencies and collaborate with cross-functional partners and colleagues. Provide regular status reports and results to team and other key stakeholders across the organization.
  • A passion for marketing: You have an interest in creating breakthrough marketing campaigns with a "Customer First" mindset
  • Ability to drive clarity in white space and remain resilient in a face paced changing environment
  • You’re a detail-oriented project manager who can oversee multiple projects and tasks to deliver both flawlessly and efficiently
  • You are a proactive and creative problem solver who can anticipate and solve challenges autonomously
  • You’re a strategic thinker who can interpret customer data to create a compelling story
  • You’re a highly effective communicator with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the poise to influence and collaborate across a diverse global organization
  • You have a “can do,” positive attitude and the willingness to pivot and thrive in the face of change quickly
  • You are self-motivated and ambitious with a passion to work in a high performing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Wear Many Different Hats: This person should be motivated by working on many unique and complex projects for how we deliver new products and program to market in a customer-first, breakthrough way
  • B2B Marketing Experience: Previous experience within the B2B space preferred
  • Build Strong Relationships: Partner closely with key internal and external partners such as Brand, Customer Marketing, Acquisition Marketing, Product Management, Legal and Compliance

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
