We're looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Incident Response Analyst to lead the detection, investigation, and containment of security incidents across a complex enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a hands on expert who thrives under pressure, thinks critically, and is passionate about strengthening cyber resilience.
This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office at least three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

What You'll Do
- Lead and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including malware, ransomware, phishing, and advanced threats.
- Perform in depth incident analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
- Serve as a technical escalation point, guiding junior analysts during active incidents.
- Partner with SOC, IT, Legal, and leadership teams on incident communications and response strategy.
- Conduct post incident reviews and drive continuous improvement of response processes.
- Develop and refine incident response playbooks, procedures, and metrics.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong focus on incident response or SOC operations.
- Hands on experience with SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence, and forensic investigation tools.
- Strong knowledge of threat actor tactics, incident lifecycle management, and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly during high stakes incidents.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCED, or similar preferred.
- This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
