Sr. Manger, Business Analyst

The Role

Workplace Investing Talent and Learning team is seeking someone who is passionate about understanding complex problems, extracting fact-based insights, and developing a communication strategy to help a large organization mobilize around a solution. In this role, you will dive deep into data, connecting the dots across disparate sets of information, and help answer and solve key challenges aligned to learner experience and talent development.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Ability to navigate multiple data sources and business partners, interacting with them to complete analytical needs while maintaining a clear strategy and understanding of inconsistencies. Excellent communication skills to prepare clear visual, written, and spoken content to influence partners at various levels across the organization. A continuous improvement approach, willingness to challenge the status quo, and push for new thinking.

  • Ability to formulate and implement strategies around business intelligence, plan benchmarking, insights, and analytics. Strong grasp of data visualization best practices, ensuring insights are presented clearly, accurately, and in a way that drives business decisions.
  • Experience using business intelligence platforms to extract, join, and transform data for analysis (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel). Strong understanding of business intelligence tools and data visualization techniques (Tableau, PowerBI, SQL).
  • Strong consulting practice with proven track record to listen, probe, and draw out deeper levels of understanding to assist with solutions and design needs.
  • Consistent track record in analyzing people and learning data to develop strong insights that guide strategy development and execution.
  • Experience crafting and developing survey instruments to drive data collection and insights.
  • Confirmed experience influencing partners through confident presentations and cross-collaboration with team members.
  • Analyze sophisticated data sets, identify trends, and extract relevant insights is essential for developing effective analytics and reporting products.
  • Conduct detailed market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and the competition.
  • Collaborate with different teams across WI HR and WI Talent & Learning to implement proposed strategies based on insights gleaned from analysis into organizational health, leadership development, and alignment to talent planning.
  • Ability to craft and implement analytics solutions that effectively communicate sophisticated analytics in a clear and understandable format on your own and/or working through a team.
  • Develop and present detailed reports and presentations for partners.
  • Compose prototype dashboards and routines that deliver actionable business intelligence.
  • Proficiency with survey authoring tools such as Qualtrics and the ability to build questions and frameworks to achieve a goal.
  • Works from a foundation of DARN with core data management practices and high levels of scrutiny to safeguard sensitive data. Ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of our data sets.
