Physical Requirements

This position requires sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing), and occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 lbs.



Shift

This shift will primarily be days, Monday through Friday and occasional weekend and/or holiday per department needs. Remote



Job Summary

Our Staff Support Associates in UKHC Transcription will provide consumers and patients access to UK HealthCare. Responsibilities include transcribing faxed referrals; providing physician information for referrals; forwarding records or plan of care to appropriate clinics and departments; registering patients for health care; entering and transcribing UK HealthCare web requests.

This is a fully remote position.

Accountability, organization, communication, computer competency, phone etiquette, professionalism, medical terminology, self-motivation, good judgment, and the ability to communicate via phone and in person with other staff to improve workflow.
