Job Summary

STEPS Administrative Assistant – Dean’s Office

The STEPS Administrative Assistant is essential to the smooth operation of the Dean’s Office. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and inquiries, creating a professional, welcoming, and efficient environment. The position supports daily office functions, provides exceptional customer service, and ensures key administrative processes run seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Dean’s Office, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills.
  • Coordinate daily office operations, including managing inquiries and directing them appropriately.
  • Greet, assist, and guide students, visitors, and members of the public.
  • Oversee mail and package processes: receive deliveries, sort mail, and notify recipients promptly.
