Job Summary
The MGCAFE Business Center is seeking a STEPS Administrative Services Assistant to support HR and Finance operations and serve as the primary point of contact for daily office activities.
This role provides key administrative, operational, and event support, including:
- Coordinating purchasing and financial processes,
- Routing forms and requests
- Monitoring shared inboxes
- Ensuring timely communication and workflow across the Business Center
- Manages front desk operations: mail and package distribution, and assists with documentation and system requests
- Coordinate meetings and events—from scheduling and logistics to catering and communications
- Supports engagement activities such as HR events, the Users Group Conference, and the annual holiday lunch.
Additional duties include:
- Maintaining the unit website and distribution lists
- Assisting with marketing materials
- Managing promotional inventory and branded item
- Supporting office-wide administrative processes
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys supporting multiple teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
