Job Summary

The Department of Toxicology & Cancer Biology is recruiting an Administrative Support Associate to assist and support the DTCB Business Office. This role will serve as first point of contact for the Department (i.e, answering phones, fielding questions and other inquiries, etc) and provide assistance to faculty as needed. This position will also provide assistance with graduate program administration, coordinating all department events and seminar series, processing of payment documents, making travel arrangements for official guests, and provide back-up assistance as needed for centralized ordering and other departmental functions.

Successful candidates will be detail-oriented; exhibiting maturity and good judgment; have proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; strong interpersonal skills; the ability to prioritize; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the capacity to work independently and with flexibility.
