Job Summary

You must be a current UK student to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK.

We’re looking for energetic, reliable instructors who enjoy working with kids! You’ll help children build confidence and learn the basics of various sports in a fun, positive environment.

What You’ll Do:
Lead or assist after-school sports classes (1 hour per class + 15 min before and after for setup/dismissal = 1.5 paid hours per class)
Run high-energy sessions focused on fun, teamwork, and skill-building
Manage and transport your assigned equipment bag
Engage kids in preschool, grades K-2, grades 3-5, or grades 6-8
Ensure every child is safely dismissed before leaving



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

What You’ll Need:
Experience working with children
Comfort in an athletic or recreational setting
Punctuality, professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm
Reliable transportation to and from school sites (no mileage reimbursement)
Availability between 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM on weekdays (most classes)
Bonus: Morning availability (occasional classes for additional hours)
