Job Summary

Overtime Athletics (OTA) is looking for energetic, dependable instructors who love working with kids and can be counted on to show up. If you bring enthusiasm, responsibility, and consistency, we’ll handle the rest — including the training, curriculum, and equipment.

If you’re not consistently available during the after-school hours (2:00–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday), or if you’re not comfortable working directly with children, please do not apply.

What You’ll Do

Lead or assist after-school sports programs at local schools (1-hour classes + 15 min setup + 15 min dismissal = 1.5 paid hours per class).
Teach teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill-building in a fun, structured way.
Arrive early, stay through dismissal, and ensure all kids are safely released.
Maintain and transport your assigned equipment bag.
Communicate clearly with school staff, parents, and your OTA Lead.
What You’ll Need

Reliability. This job depends on showing up — every class, on time, prepared.
Experience working with kids. Coaching, babysitting, teaching, or camp experience are all great.
Comfort in a sports or recreational setting. We provide training and curriculum.
Professionalism and patience. OTA is trusted by schools; we expect you to represent that standard.
Reliable transportation to and from school sites (no mileage reimbursement).
Availability: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM weekdays. Morning hours sometimes available for extra classes.
Pay and Growth

Starting pay: $16–$24/hour based on experience.
You receive a raise after each 6-week session.
Returning coaches can earn up to $24/hour.
Typical workload: 3–4 afternoons per week (more if desired).
Work Environment

Class size: 10–20 kids, with a Lead and Support Instructor.
Mandatory paid training before starting.
Great opportunity for future educators, athletes, and youth program leaders.
Job Type

Part-time, in-person

Benefits

Flexible schedule
Rewarding work with kids
Consistent hours during the school year
If you’re reliable, positive, and ready to make an impact on kids through sports — we’d love to have you on the OTA team.
