Job Summary

You must be a current UK student employee to apply for this position. This position is located off-campus with a local Lexington employer and is not affiliated with UK.

If you love being with children, this is the job for you! We are a wonderful preschool currently accepting applications for a preschool assistant teacher for our “Afternoon Friends” program. Our afternoon program will consist of children ages 2 years old to kindergarten. The candidate should be a team player, flexible to changes that occur within the school day, and willing to “float” between different age groups. Our school takes pride in providing a friendly work atmosphere as well as providing a safe and fun place for our students to grow and learn. Our school start date is September 5, 2023



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

- Applicants must be energetic, dependable, patient, and someone
who possesses a great love for small children ages 2 through 5 yrs.
- Prior preschool experience is preferred but not required.
- Applicants will need to obtain their CPR & First Aid certification upon employment and also submit an updated TB test.
