The Intern will support the Rates, Economics, and Energy Risk Management team by assisting with analytical projects that contribute to the utility’s financial and operational decision‑making. This role offers hands‑on experience with load forecasting, rate analysis, and energy market risk concepts. Under close supervision, the intern will gather, analyze, and input data into established models, helping maintain and improve department programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a student seeking practical experience in data analytics, energy economics, and utility operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older at time of application.
  • High School student or student currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or vocational program working toward a degree or certification in any field.

Experience/Education

  • Current transcripts, progress reports, and/or student enrollment histories are required at time of application.
  • Proof of student status for upcoming quater is required prior to hire. Acceptable documents include: current registration/enrollment notice, or letter of intent from Registrar's office, or student enrollment history, or tuition payment confirmation or cancelled check.
  • Must successfully complete the pre-employment screening process, including testing for employment (if applicable)
