Summer Temporary Digital Marketing Assistant

As an Intern, Digital Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Personal Care brand's digital presence in North America. This role involves developing and executing innovative social media and content marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer loyalty, and engagement across various digital channels. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media marketing, have a strong foundation in content creation, be attuned to current cultural trends, and possess a keen understanding of digital platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and manage compelling and engaging content across various social platforms, (with a focus on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram) and brand websites.
• Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to support content development, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and voice.
• Perform social media marketing research including best practices amongst D2C personal care/beauty brands.
• Monitor and engage with online communities, responding to comments and participate in relevant conversations to enhance brand presence and customer loyalty.
• Investigate potential brand partnerships, collaborations with adjacent brands, giveaways, etc.
• Work alongside the Digital Media Manager to set and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, providing detailed reports and insights to brand teams.
• Engage in project management activities, including maintaining marketing calendars, preparing presentations, and ensuring timely execution of campaigns.
• Conduct a comprehensive research and analysis to develop a final presentation summarizing the digital landscape of the Personal Care industry.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree ideally in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in digital marketing related role, with a strong background in social media management.
• Proficiency in various social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, with a knack for creating engaging content.
• Excellent copywriting skills, capable of crafting compelling messages for diverse digital channels.
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Highly adaptable, with an ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This role is an individual contributor within the Integrated Marketing team.

Compensation:

• $20.00 hourly rate
