Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Systems Administrator with a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud to join our IT team. This mixed-role position combines technical support, system administration, and cloud-based solutions management. This position requires proficiency in troubleshooting, maintaining systems, and leveraging cloud technologies to deliver smooth and efficient IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2 IT support to end users for both on-premises and cloud-based systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.), ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Administer and maintain cloud resources in Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networks, and other Azure services.
- Manage and support additional cloud systems including SFTP, claims processing, and infrastructure applications.
- Collaborate with other teams to diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, and IT systems.
- Plan and schedule work activities, coordinate activities with other cross-functional team members to meet day-to-day activities and project goals.
- Support and assist in the execution of IT and cloud-related projects, including migrations, upgrades, patching, and deployments.
- Monitor the performance and health of applications and services, taking proactive steps to address issues before they impact operations.
- Assist Security Officer with security remediations and implementations.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 applications and services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)
- Proficiency in Azure services (Compute, Storage, and Networking).
- Experience with SFTP connectivity and management, including PKI.
- Experience with server and network administration in cloud environments.
- Basic knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a support role with a focus on IT systems and cloud services, particularly the Microsoft ecosystem.
Recommended Certifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert).
- Azure Certifications – 900, 104, etc.
- CompTIA Net+, CompTIA Security+, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
