The Role
We have an opening for a highly motivated Systems Analyst to join the Fidelity Institutional Technology (FI Technology) team. You will be a member of a distributed scrum team made up of software engineers, quality assurance engineers and squad lead (product owner) responsible for delivering key customer features.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

- The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 3+ years systems or data analysis experience beyond internships and education
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) or systems development methodologies.
- Understanding of the Agile software development methodology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to coordinate Business partners to understand project objectives, use cases and requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, enabling you to research, document and review existing systems and recommend designs for achieving requirements for self-contained projects within a larger program
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and facilitation skills
- Expertise in conveying technical concepts with internal customers, technical team members, and/or other technical contributors across the organization.
- Proficient in developing automation and utility scripts using Python and Shell.
- Working knowledge of the Linux operating system, including command-line operations and basic system administration.
- Fundamental SQL skills for writing data queries and performing basic data analysis.
- Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including core services and deployment concepts.
- Experience working with APIs and using tools like Postman or Insomnia to test and interact with endpoints.
- Basic understanding of version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
