Job Description:
We have an opening for an experienced Systems Analyst to join the Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology (FIBET) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing & implementing products that advance Fidelity customer’s digital experiences. Our team uses a variety of technologies, which means we use our current skills and continue to grow in our careers by learning new technologies.
The Expertise we are looking for:
- 4+ years of business analysis experience delivering customer or associate focused digital solutions of high value
- Proficient in conducting technical business analysis, writing requirements, designing, maintaining dynamic solutions & translating strategic objectives into action
- Can communicate effectively with engineering teams, translating business requirements and client needs into technical requirements
- An affinity for technology and knowledge of systems integration technologies and standards
- Experience in root cause identification, process, journey and value stream mapping
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.
- Proficient using Confluence & JIRA
- Familiarity with APIs and how to call them via an API tool is a plus
- Basic knowledge of angular components and REST APIs is helpful
The Purpose of your role:
You will be a member of a co-located scrum team made up of software engineers, quality assurance engineers and squad lead (product owner) responsible for delivering key customer features.

- Partnering with squad lead and delivery team to meet customer needs
- Able to digest and break down stories, working closely with the team’s tech lead
- You are deeply effective in written and verbal communications and are dedicated to tailoring content to the appropriate audience (business vs. technology, associate vs. management)
- Communicating progress to technology and business partners at all levels
- Determined, self-managed, energetic, passionate, and motivated with the ability to work independently to deliver results
