We have an opening for a highly motivated Systems Analyst to join the Fidelity Institutional Product and Business Enablement Technology (FIPBET) team. You will be a member of a co-located scrum team made up of software engineers, quality assurance engineers and squad lead (product owner) responsible for delivering key customer features.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 3+ years business or systems analysis experience or Degree in Computer Science.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) or systems development methodologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, XP, Kanban).
- Ability to work under minimum supervision with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to navigate through uncertainty.
- Your experience working with Squad Leader and Scrum Teams on Product and Sprint backlogs.
- Your experience in eliciting and documenting requirements using interview, requirement workshops and translate business requirements into technical details.
- Your demonstrated ability to break down epics into user stories, and to define acceptance criteria based on requirements.
- You possess an analytical and consulting mindset – able to ask engaging questions to help tease out requirements details and technical implementation options.
- You have excellent attention to details, accompanied by sound interpersonal and communication skills.
- Your technical knowledge in web applications, SOA is a plus.
