The Role

As the Delivery Program Manager for a defined body of work, you will partner with multiple Product Teams to deliver a medium to large-scale, complex Program in iterations. We value the ability to closely partner with leaders, engineers, architects, and teams across business units. You will be accountable for coordinating, improving, and maximizing delivery of value across multiple Product Teams; working with leaders to facilitate scope of work and prioritization; and help to develop Program roadmaps and release plans. You will also develop and drive the Program’s execution strategy and will be accountable for ensuring that the scaled events take place and are productive and positive. You will facilitate both strategic and tactical discussions with the Product Teams and Delivery teams to achieve a common objective. Additionally, you will: coordinate the teams’ delivery with the Program’s release plans; ensure insight into process improvements, impediments, and progress, to the organization; facilitate the prioritization and removal of impediments, with particular attention to cross-team dependencies and radiate information on progress to leadership and teams.

The Expertise and Skills You Have

  • 5 years or more of Software Development Program Management experience managing medium to large programs of work that are of medium complexity

  • 10 years or more of overall work experience

  • Scaled Delivery Framework certification and experience preferred (Scrum@Scale, SAFe, LeSS, etc.)

  • Strong technical aptitude preferred. Committed to developing a balance of technology and non-technology skills to fully enable and meet the broad needs of our Stakeholders

  • Adept at communicating technical solutions, risks, business value, etc. to peers and executive leadership across a variety of teams in written, spoken and presentation form

  • Strong grasp of business context and product development techniques

  • Strong understanding of and experience with standard and scaled delivery practices, processes, and artifacts

  • Stakeholder and change management skills

  • Able to influence behavior without having organizational hierarchy

  • Ability to brainstorm solutions to address challenges and roadblocks faced by the Program’s teams

  • Proven excellence in communication and people-interaction

  • You’re organized, disciplined and have a continuous improvement attitude

  • Experience encouraging Agile behaviors, reinforcing practices, norms, events, and supporting overall efficiency and effectiveness

  • Ability to identify team improvement opportunities and look externally for standard methodologies to support continuous improvement

  • Experience managing and coordinating logistics for scaled Agile events and practices

  • Experience curating, communicating, and managing Program status, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders

  • Experience working across multiple Product Teams to drive coordination and delivery of initiatives

  • Experience supporting adoption and consistent use of delivery enabling tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Align, Miro, Power BI)
