The Role:
You’ll be a key part of our cross-functional team, partnering with Fidelity’s external clients—large plan sponsors who administer their employee benefit programs with Fidelity. Here’s what you’ll do to support our clients as they make changes to, boost awareness and understanding of, and drive employee engagement in their benefit programs:

• Draft technical content for benefit communications.

• Collaborate across internal and external teams to ensure our clients’ objectives are met and we deliver accurate, high-impact work.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
• Your strong writing and editing skills help you communicate clearly and effectively across audiences and formats.
• You pair strong writing skills with a working knowledge of employee retirement plan and health & welfare plan fundamentals.
• You partner with technical consultants to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity when drafting legally required documents under ERISA.
• You have experience drafting Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and other technically-detailed benefit communications that explain complex concepts in clear, employee-friendly language.
• You structure documents like SPDs and benefit guides so information is logically organized, clearly labeled, and modular, enabling employees to quickly locate answers or extract sections for explanation using AI tools.
• You bring a growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• With experience managing multiple priorities and working across teams, you stay organized and adaptable in fast-paced, client-facing settings.
• You value inclusivity, build trust through your work, and influence outcomes through thoughtful communication.

Your skills and qualifications also include:
• Project management
• General research and fact checking
• Bachelor’s degree (English, Marketing/Communications or related field preferred)
• 3+ years of experience
