The Role

Are you ready to make a significant impact by helping us build a flawless security posture? As a Technology Risk Assessor at Fidelity Investments, you will play a key role in our new Enterprise Technology Standards & Controls Office. You will support a world-class team by identifying and mitigating technology risks, improving our firm’s security, and ensuring transparency in risk reporting.
Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the identification, mitigation, and communication of technology risks.
  • Coordinating with ET domains to identify and report risks.
  • Leading ET-focused internal audits.
  • Providing transparency into known risk mitigation activities.
  • Collaborating across Enterprise Technology to foster a strong risk and control approach.

We are looking for professionals who bring a rich blend of technical, analytical, and communication skills. Your background should include:
• A Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of related work experience.
• Proven experience in technical proficiency, risk/audit frameworks (NIST, SOC, COSO), and data analytics.
• A strong track record of building consensus and collaborating across various levels of an organization.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and priorities.
• Technical understanding of ecosystem fundamentals.
• Experience in identifying risks and influencing leadership decisions with clear mitigation strategies.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
