Job Summary
The Dr. Bing Zhang Department of Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for a Full-Time Instructor in Statistics. This non-tenure-eligible, temporary title series position will begin August 1, 2026, with a teaching assignment of 4 courses in the Fall, and 4 courses in the Spring. Courses may include introductory statistics for large enrollment courses, statistical methods, statistical computing and data visualization, and applied statistics courses in the Applied Statistics MS program. We seek a candidate with a strong foundation in applied statistics and statistical computing who is comfortable teaching both introductory and intermediate statistics courses. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching large undergraduate courses, as well as the ability to support online or hybrid instruction.
A Ph.D. in Statistics is required at the time of appointment.
