Great opportunity exists for a bachelor's level Therapeutic Mentoring (TM) and Therapeutic Training and Support (TTS) worker to join our dedicated team of professionals in our Quincy In-Home Therapy program! 

TM/TTS is a dual role that works independently as well as with master level clinicians to assist children and families in their home and community.

1:1 structured service:

  • mentoring sessions supporting a youth’s behavioral health treatment plan goal developed by a hub service (outpatient, in-home therapist or intensive care coordinator)
  • supporting, coaching, training the youth in age-appropriate behaviors
  • interpersonal communication
  • problem-solving and conflict resolution relative to other children, adolescents, and adultsin recreational and social activities

Team services provided under the supervision of a clinician:

  • implementing a treatment plan and assisting the youth and family in gathering appropriate resources
  • participating in the treatment team to execute the therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan, designed to address the youth’s mental health, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • teaching the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations by partnering with the family in addressing their emotional and mental health needs.

TM/TTS completes all clinical documentation and service plans on-line using AVATAR Electronic Health Record System.

Schedule is Monday through Friday 11am-7pm

Office is based out of Braintree.

Required Skills

  • bachelor’s degree in a human services field and one year’s experienceworking with children/adolescents/transition-age youth is required

Required Experience

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Proficiency in computer technology required
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
  • Valid MA State driver’s license, safe driving record and access to personal vehicle for client transportation.
