Shift

The position will work 10-15 hours per week in-office and at The Thrifty Cat. Remote work is not available.

Job Summary

UK Recycling is seeking a driven and professional student to join our team as the Director of The Thrifty Cat. The student will be responsible for managing the store operations, volunteers, and events. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will gain practical experience while also having an opportunity for creative direction of the store.

Duties Include:

• Maintain and elevate The Thrifty Cat’s image and reputation.
• Manage relationships with key campus partners.
• Hire, train, and manage a team of student volunteers.
• Manage store donations.
• Maintain record keeping and analyze program data.
• Assist with promotion of The Thrifty Cat.
• Plan events to support and expand the reach of The Thrifty Cat.
