Position Purpose
The Training Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing technical training
operations within the manufacturing environment. This role drives onboarding, orientation,
and on-the-job training programs to ensure employees are properly trained, certified, and
aligned with operational standards.
This position also partners closely with Operations and Quality leadership to build a capable,
compliant, and continuously improving workforce.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Supervise, coach, and support Technical Trainers responsible for shopfloor training and development
- Lead and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs
- Oversee cross-training, certification, and skills development for shopfloor employees
- Conduct training needs assessments and develop training plans aligned with operational priorities
- Maintain a centralized training calendar for onboarding, refresher, and role-based training
- Audit training completions and ensure accurate tracking and compliance
- Deliver Team Leader orientation and ongoing leadership training programs
- Partner with Operations and Quality Group Leaders to ensure training alignment across departments
- Ensure training processes are standardized and consistently executed across shifts
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements to enhance workforce capability
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and development
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing, technical training, workforce development,
- or operations
- Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional methods
- Proven experience delivering training to hourly workforce and frontline leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Education,
- Business, Engineering, or related field
- Experience supporting safety, quality, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, ISO, or similar manufacturing standards
- Experience training Team Leaders or first-line supervisors
- Lean, Six Sigma, or adult learning certifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
