VP Pre-Approved Document Consulting
The Role
In this role you will lead a team of Fidelity Investment’s Pre-Approved Document Consultant Leaders. The Pre-approved Document Consulting teams provide Legal Retirement Plan Document Support for our clients using Fidelity’s IRS Pre-approved Document Program. The team owns the negotiation and facilitation of our Defined Contribution Contract and Plan Documents with our Defined Contribution plan sponsors.
Leading responsibility for 7-10 associates, including director level team leaders and associates
Serve as the face of Fidelity in negotiations with clients facilitating Contracts and plan document amendments
Build cross-company relationships and work closely with a team of professionals to deliver outstanding service to our business
Keep actively informed, and be a trusted advisor, on regulatory changes that impact Fidelity's provision of Defined compensation services related to the pre-approved program and our business partners
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Minimum of 10+ years of shown experience, preferably including Defined contribution Plan, ERISA, compliance/legal experience
Strong contract drafting, review and negotiations skills
Leading Responsibility of compliance, risk, contracts Legal, or Client facing teams.
Keen knowledge of U.S. securities laws, rules and regulations, and data privacy laws
High level interpersonal and diplomacy skills
Stellar ability to simplify complicated issues and build consensus among opposing interests
Effective speaking, writing and presentation skills
Law firm or equivalent experience preferred
Requires a four (4) year college degree, MBA/JD strongly preferred
Ability to travel 25% of the time

We are client-facing associates who collaborate with internal business partners, and negotiate with external partners, in all phases of the contracting process.
