We are seeking a Vice President of Strategic Finance to join our executive leadership team and play a central role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and long-term growth.

About the Role
The Vice President of Strategic Finance will lead Quintillion’s financial planning and analysis function and serve as a key strategic partner to the CFO and executive team. You will deliver actionable insights, strengthen forecasting and reporting capabilities, support project-based financial operations, and ensure financial discipline across the organization.

What You’ll Do
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Lead FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-range planning
- Provide executive-level insights that support growth, profitability, and capital optimization
- Partner closely with the CFO and leadership team to align financial strategy with operational priorities
Operational & Project Finance Support
- Support project-based accounting including CIP, WIP tracking, capitalization, depreciation, and cost allocation
- Provide cost-to-complete analysis and performance tracking for major infrastructure initiatives
- Strengthen inventory tracking processes and controls
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with clear variance analysis and performance insights
- Support lender and grant compliance reporting with strong documentation and metric reporting
- Assist with board and investor financial materials and presentations
Process Improvement & Systems Optimization
- Improve financial processes, reporting structures, and ERP data capture to enhance decision-making
- Build dashboards and performance metrics that increase organizational visibility and accountability
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Accounting, Strategy, and Executive teams to support major investments and strategic initiatives
- Provide financial decision support for new business opportunities and growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience
- 5+ years in senior FP&A or financial leadership roles
Core Skills & Expertise
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting expertise
- Strong understanding of project-based accounting and capital-intensive operations
- Experience with ERP systems, reporting platforms, and data visualization tools
- Proven ability to translate financial data into strategic business insights
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- High integrity, strong analytical judgment, and attention to detail

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in an office or hybrid environment and includes standard executive office responsibilities such as computer work, meetings, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs). Travel may be required periodically.
