Job Title: Vice President, Wealth Strategy & Planning

The Role

The Vice President of Wealth Strategy and Planning will report into the Head of Wealth Strategy, working with all levels of management across the Fidelity Wealth & Brokerage Business Units.

Core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Aggregating competitive insights from Fidelity Wealth and Fidelity Brokerage to provide unified Retail competitive intelligence

  • Leading efforts to understand what Fidelity Wealth’s competitors are doing and enable the organization to be more competitive

  • Alignment and coordination of competitive research across all Wealth L2 orgs

  • Give competitive presentations to senior executives as needed

  • Manage competitive research request projects

  • Publication of competitive research reports weekly and annually to leadership across Fidelity

  • Competitive research website management

  • Acting as the competitive subject matter expert on key strategic projects across Fidelity Wealth

  • Compiling customer research and insights from across Wealth to inform strategic gaps and opportunities

  • Developing and tracking Wealth market share metrics

  • Contribute to Strategy formation and execution in partnership with leaders across Wealth

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of equivalent experience

  • Strong executive presence and successful partnership with leaders across the organization

  • Ability to influence senior executives through fact-based decision support

  • Shown experience in one or more of the following preferred: customer or competitor research, management consulting, strategy, product development

  • Consistent record as effective program manager innovator and change agent

  • Able to set strategic direction and operationalize tactical solutions

  • Strong analytical skills and strong presentation skills

  • Curiosity along with the ability to bring new insights and thinking to the business

  • Financial Services experience and/or knowledge

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and ambiguous environment

  • BA/BS required, MBA or equivalent Master’s degree preferred

The Team

Opportunity to join the small and robust team that develops and drives Wealth’s strategy, competitive insights, and business management processes. This role is responsible for leading and supporting efforts within the team, ranging from strategy development and competitive modeling to annual planning and special ad hoc projects requested by Wealth’s Senior Leadership Team.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-264,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
