Job Summary
The Lewis Honors College at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a one academic year (9-month), non‐tenure‐eligible, full‐time Visiting Lecturer to begin August 2026. We seek a colleague with a terminal degree in any field. Our colleague will teach the Honors foundation seminar, HON 140 “Knowledge and Society,” and courses that satisfy one of the University of Kentucky’s Core (general education) requirements. Interest in or experience teaching courses in service learning is a plus.
The expected teaching load is nine credit hours each term (fall & spring). Maximum enrollment per course is capped at 25 students. You will contribute to the student-focused mission of helping students to explore their purpose, develop intellectually, and lead with integrity. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and to fostering a vibrant classroom and campus environment.

Please provide 2–3 “written course descriptions” with the stated intended audience being students (Please upload as Specific Request 1).
