
VP Health Care Implementations
Job Description:
As a Vice President, Fidelity Health Implementations, you will lead a high-impact team responsible for crafting and delivering the implementation project strategy across Fidelity’s healthcare offerings. This role demands a visionary leader with deep expertise in translating strategic priorities into scalable, client-centric solutions.
- Client Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the client, ensuring their needs are prioritized across all program delivery efforts.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Program Managers, fostering collaboration and accountability to deliver seamless, integrated solutions.
- Program Execution: Lead all aspects of the deployment of complex business initiatives, managing risks, resources, and client expectations to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Engage with internal team members to streamline communications and enhance process efficiency.
- Portfolio Management: Lead integrated program delivery across multiple domains, including:
- Product launches
- Plan implementations
- Annual enrollment campaigns
- Voluntary benefits onboarding
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Fidelity Health product leaders to develop and implement strategies that boost year-over-year growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all programs align with legal, risk, and contractual obligations.
- Talent Development: Build associates capabilities through coaching, career development, and succession planning.
- Pipeline Cultivation: Establish relationships with internal and external feeder organizations to maintain a robust talent pipeline.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years in program management
- 15+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Background in benefits administration or outsourcing
- Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios
- Executive-level communication and influence
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities
- Consultative sales acumen
- Expert in presentation and stakeholder engagement

The Team
This position reports to the Head of Client Delivery for Fidelity Health. The Client Delivery team implements and provides on-going project services to Fidelity’s Health Care, Health Savings Account and Voluntary Benefits clients. Fidelity Health plays an integral role in Workplace Investing’s Total Benefits Outsourcing portfolio.
