
VP of TEM Participant Engagement Strategy

The Role
Fidelity Wealth’s Tax-Exempt (TEM) Product Area is seeking an accomplished leader with a passion for engaging partners across Brokerage, Wealth, Fidelity Institutional, and Workplace Investing to enable customer experiences that drive lifetime engagement with Fidelity. As a leader engaged with multiple executives across various business units, you’ll use your polished executive presence, passion for problem-solving, and persistent curiosity to forge partnerships, create and deliver on a strategic roadmap, and bring actionable value to the business. This position will report to the TEM Product Area Leader.
The Value You Deliver
As part of this leadership role, some key responsibilities will include:
Working with the leadership team to establish business direction and develop strategies
Develop and manage domain-wide mechanisms that build strategic alignment and multi year planning.
Develop/manage forward-looking comprehensive plan - anticipate needs/priorities, seek/incorporate input from leaders, identify/resolve issues, manage interdependencies, maintain/prioritize backlog, provide transparency – and manage/supervise follow-up items from key executive meetings
Design, coordinate and support executive management routines/meetings (quarterly planning, MYP planning, operating reviews, strategic alignment meetings, all associate meetings)
Support the oversight and program management of ad hoc initiatives where necessary (e.g., investment portfolio management/transparency, cross-BU initiatives, executive scorecards/important metrics & KPIs)
Continuously scan marketplace and competitive landscape to identify and launch the next generation of business initiatives to meet client needs.
Lead select strategic initiatives as needed.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required
12+ years of general management and strategy experience in financial services
Demonstrated competencies to negotiate and influence at all levels within an organization
Strong both written and verbal communications and ability to translate business context, challenges and strategy into executive level presentation
Successful track record partnering across multiple business units to create alignment and drive execution prioritization
Innovative, forward-thinker who quickly understands the context, comfortable challenging the status quo
Strong interpersonal and organization skills including the ability to lead by influence and build relationships at all organization levels
Skilled at working with executive leadership team with competing priorities and key dependencies.
Strong executive presence, with significant executive briefing skills
The Team
TEM provides retirement plan services to benefit leaders and their employees at not-for-profit organizations (i.e., healthcare systems, colleges & universities). Our dedicated business unit includes client-facing associates (i.e., relationship managers, communications consultants, financial planners), an analytics team and product developers.
The base salary range for this position is $130,000-264,000 USD per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
