
Warehouse Associate
Responsibilities
Salary Range: $21.50/hr
Shift: Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift
Key Responsibilities:
' Provide material control services thatinclude the accurate and efficient processing of paperwork, data entry, orderpicking, delivery, record keeping, and counting of materials, supplies, tools,and finished goods; provide support for packaging and shipping of material tointernal and external customers.
' Apply basic personal computer functionsto access production control and material data systems to assist in thedevelopment and implementation of shipping and delivery schedules, tool controlschedules, manufacturing setup schedules, and production schedules.
' Work with various departments toprioritize work orders and manufacturing or tool set-up tasks in an assignedproduction cell. Assist supervision and workforce in the resolution of workorder or shop supply discrepancies, problems and/or concerns.
' Transport parts, materials, supplies,tools, and production setups by hand or with mechanical devices, such as a towmotors or forklifts.
' Maintains clean work environment(including assigned storage and cleaning duties) in full compliance withcompany standards, customer and government regulations.
' Assists in the development andmaintenance of a business culture, which supports the Company's overallbusiness objectives and goals, to include issues that involve 'cost, quality,process, schedule and people'.
' Ensures the company's commitment tomaintain a safe workplace and to protect the environment through theestablishment and support of Company policy and adherence to various governmentregulations.
Performs other duties, tasks andresponsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
BasicQualifications
' High School diploma or GED, orequivalent combination of education and experience.
' No experience is required.
' Must be able to attain forklift andoverhead and/or mobile crane certification.
' Must have a valid California driverslicense (CDL).
' Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
