Pay Range

$80,000.00-$110,000.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all daily operations of 24/7/365 warehouse and shipping facility, focusing on the efficient flow of goods, inventory management, staff supervision, and safety compliance. This role is crucial to the supply chain, ensuring products move from supplier to customer in a timely and cost-effective manner. Key responsibilities include managing workflows, controlling inventory, leading a team of employees with various layers of responsibility, enforcing safety protocols, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics with various internal and external partners. Ideal candidates possess strong leadership skills, analytical abilities, and experience with SAP and other JM systems.

Your Day to Day:

  • Operations Management: Planning, directing, and coordinating all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping. This involves optimizing workflows and space utilization to maximize efficiency.
  • Inventory Control: Monitoring and auditing inventory levels, tracking stock, and reconciling data within SAP to prevent discrepancies, minimize loss, and ensure product availability.
  • Staff Leadership and Development: Recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising a diverse team of warehouse associates. This includes performance management, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Safety and Compliance: Establishing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a healthy and secure work environment, complying with all federal and state regulations, such as OSHA and DOT standards.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Managing the departmental budget, analyzing operational data, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
  • Logistics Coordination: Liaising with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments (e.g., PD, SIOP, customer service, procurement, production, maintenance, engineering) to resolve issues, negotiate contracts, and ensure seamless operations.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • High School diploma required; minimum 3 years of relevant experience (warehouse/production). Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Expert SAP knowledge/direct use experience or other ERP system knowledge
  • Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid HAZMAT shipping knowledge and/or certification required
  • Manages a staff of 40+ hourly employees, sets direction and deploys resources. Responsible for performance evaluations, pay reviews, hiring, and terminating.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Minimal travel required (0 – 10 days per year)
  • Work environment is typical of a manufacturing/warehouse facility. May be exposed to environmental conditions of cold, heat, high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, heights, dust/mist/gas/fumes, extensive walking or climbing, etc.
