Position Summary
ATA Services, Inc., is looking for a warehouse clerk for our client Hawaii State Hospital. This role supports the hospital's inventory management and supply operations. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, tracking, and distributing medical, office, maintenance, and operational supplies used throughout the hospital.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Management- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory tracking systems and spreadsheets.
- Monitor stock levels and identify items that need replenishment.
- Conduct routine inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Generate inventory reports and provide updates to management.
- Receive deliveries and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming supplies for damage or shortages.
- Label, organize, and store inventory in designated locations.
- Maintain warehouse organization to ensure efficient retrieval of supplies.
- Fill supply requests from hospital departments.
- Deliver inventory and supplies throughout the facility as needed.
- Maintain records of stock issued to departments.
- Respond to urgent requests for critical supplies.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of warehouse, inventory control, logistics, receiving, stockroom, or related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and basic inventory tracking systems.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to accurately count, track, and reconcile inventory.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
