The Water Resources Director performs complex professional, technical, and administrative work directing the operation and maintenance of the City's water and wastewater treatment facilities, compost facility, and maintenance and construction for the distribution and collection systems. Supervision is exercised over all Water and Wastewater personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with major course work in environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering, public administration or a closely related field or four years related work experience
• Extensive experience in the operation of water and/or wastewater treatment systems and the maintenance and construction of the distribution and collection systems, project management, contract administration, budget administration -
• Considerable supervisory experience
• Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record
  
  Work Schedule
  Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Paid bi-weekly.
