NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY WORK<ol><li>Represent Risk and Compliance and partner with each department in their selection and evaluation process of all new vendors and service providers.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify risks and uphold standards as it pertains to Civic’s policies and procedures through the due diligence processes.</li><li>Conduct planned and scheduled assessments of service providers that are critical to the Credit Union’s ongoing operations. The Career Services, Quality Assurance Manager plays a pivotal role under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, Career Services, focusing chiefly on ensuring that employment verifications across all campuses are meticulously completed, validated, and audited in Salesforce weekly. This role is crucial in managing and upholding the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and various regulatory standards in alignment with the organization's mission and objectives. Central responsibilities encompass leading the Quality Assurance process, with a significant emphasis on conducting quarterly audits to verify the accuracy and compliance of employment data. Additionally, the manager is tasked with generating reports, analyzing data, and pinpointing areas for process enhancement at the campus level, all within the purview of strengthening the integrity and reliability of employment verification processes.Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:<ul type="disc"><li>Ensures that employment verifications across all campuses are meticulously completed, validated, and audited in Salesforce weekly.</li><li>Provides weekly reports and updates to both the Executive Director of Career Services and the Campus Career Services Director on the progress of all employment verifications.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive audits of employment verification processes on all campuses to confirm document validity and data accuracy.</li><li>Maintain rigorous standards for verifying and validating graduate employment records across the university.</li><li>Monitor and manage the integrity of database records and physical verification documents, including E-sign and third-party processes.</li><li>Execute remote and on-site assessments to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for annual reporting.</li><li>Provide regular recommendations for the refinement and improvement of data collection and operational protocols.</li><li>In partnership with the Campus Directors, works with all California and online campuses in managing BPPE auditing process.</li><li>Closely scrutinize Career Services data for accuracy, vigilantly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.</li><li>Drive initiatives within Career Services to uphold adherence to federal, state, and regulatory standards.</li><li>Collaborate with campus teams and directly contact graduates to verify placement data and support licensure and placement efforts.</li><li>Coordinate with third-party verification entities to facilitate timely data corrections and employer verifications.</li><li>Oversee the creation and analysis of Quality Assurance reports, pinpointing opportunities for process optimization.</li><li>Guide campuses in implementing verification procedures and in conducting thorough documentation audits in Career Services.</li><li>Address graduate inquiries proactively, aiding in the prevention of potential complaints and supporting successful placement outcomes.</li><li>Certify that all Career Services related activities are consistently executed in alignment with established university policies and quality standards.</li></ul>Experience &amp; Skills:<ul type="disc"><li>Bachelors degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of Career Services experience or related experience required.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.</li><li>Ability to self-direct, self-pace, multi-task and function well under pressure of deadlines and conflicting priorities.</li><li>Ability to work with individuals at the campuses, Administration and Shared Services.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication, project management, conceptual, and analytical skills.</li><li>Ability to understand compliance and regulatory issues in a highly ethnic and culturally diverse student and associate community.</li><li>Ability to train others on the regulatory requirements.</li></ul>#LI-AM1Do you want a career that allows you to make a difference in other people’s lives? This role involves identifying potential risks, working with members to resolve payment issues, providing repayment solutions, and implementing strategies to mitigate loan losses. NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY WORK<ol><li>Provide early and late-stage delinquency management by monitoring loan accounts and identify members who are at risk of becoming delinquent.</li><li>Proactively contact members via phone, email, or other communication methods to discuss their accounts and identify reasons for delinquency</li><li>Work with members to develop repayment plans, loan modifications, or other solutions to bring accounts current.</li><li>Ensure a consultative member approach to restructuring loans as necessary, providing direction on improving the financial outlook of the member in the future.</li><li>Accurately document all member interactions, payment agreements, and actions plans in the core collection system.</li><li>Provide members with information on financial education resources and tools to help them manage their finances and avoid future delinquencies.</li><li>Collaborate as necessary with other internal business units and resources to ensure a coordinated approach to loss prevention.</li><li>Assist the AVP of Risk Assessment and Loss Mitigation with reviewing reports on delinquency trends, member interactions, and recovery efforts.</li><li>Ensure all activities are in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Credit Union policies, guidelines, and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Take ownership for actions, decisions, and results; openly accept feedback and demonstrate both the willingness and ability to improve.</li></ol> JOB QUALIFICATIONSHere are a few skills you MUST have to be qualified for this position. <ol><li>Minimum 4-6 years experience in consumer loan product collections, financial services or related field.&nbsp;</li><li>Must have an understanding of accounting principles and business financial statements and tax returns.</li><li>Must be knowledgeable in the process of analyzing personal tax returns, personal financial statements, and credit bureau reports.</li><li>Experience with credit procedures, policies, regulations and laws, in addition to knowledge of bankruptcy and consumer law.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment.</li><li>Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.</li><li>Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
