This role ensures full compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and Metro 2 standards by performing timely and accurate data reviews, corrections, and updates using tools such as e-OSCAR.&nbsp; NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY WORK<ol><li>&nbsp;Monitor and validate credit bureau reporting files for accuracy and completeness.</li><li>&nbsp;Investigate and resolve consumer disputes received through e-OSCAR and direct channels within FCRA/FACTA-mandated timelines.</li><li>&nbsp;Analyze loan servicing and system data to validate account statuses, payment histories, and other reported information.</li><li>&nbsp;Submit updated or corrected credit reporting data as necessary.</li><li>&nbsp;Research consumer complaints related to credit reporting, document findings, and determine appropriate resolutions.</li><li>&nbsp;Maintain detailed documentation of dispute resolution processes and outcomes.</li><li>&nbsp;Respond to credit verification requests.</li><li>&nbsp;Collaborate with Loan Operations, Collections, and Risk and Compliance to resolve data discrepancies related to credit reporting.</li><li>Support audits and regulatory exam reviews by providing documentation and subject matter input.</li><li>Maintain compliance with FCRA, CFPB regulations, and industry best practices.</li><li>&nbsp;Stay current on FCRA requirements, Metro 2® changes, and industry best practices.</li><li>&nbsp;Take ownership for actions, decisions, and results; openly accept feedback and demonstrate both the willingness and ability to improve.</li></ol> JOB QUALIFICATIONSHere are a few skills you MUST have to be qualified for this position.<ol><li>&nbsp;1 – 3 years of experience in credit bureau reporting and dispute management.</li><li>&nbsp;Familiarity with FCRA/FACTA, Metro 2 reporting standards, and e-OSCAR.</li><li>&nbsp;Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills.</li><li>&nbsp;Must possess a strong service orientation.</li><li>Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.</li><li>&nbsp;Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
