

QC Inspector/Certification Specialist
Responsibilities
Along with inspection tasks, you will perform the duties of certification package preparation
You will receive a job router from the Order Process Team, investigate the lot & lot genealogy, pull backup documentation for the material(s) in the order and assemble a certification package for the finished product
Complete document package that reflects customer requirements, is thorough, complete, accurate, and acceptable to the customer
Responsible for monitoring the time spent on each job as well as logging that time against the job
Responsible for maintaining process control of material and job activity while the job is in their possession
Responsible for completeness and accuracy of all certifications issued by him/her in keeping with procedures and the requirements of the customer's contract/order
Responsive to customer requests for verification of documentation submitted
Ability to research and confirm accuracy of certification package with vendor
Responsible for inspecting parts received
Responsible for first piece and final inspection
May also perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s Degree or related coursework in Quality Assurance or a similar field is a plus.
3+ years of transferable quality experience
Very detailed oriented, with a high level of accuracy in generating required certification documentation and handling of records
Familiarity with ERP Software and Microsoft Office
Interpersonal skills and ability to work in and promote a team environment
Prior experience in aerospace, automotive, metal stamping, or machining industries is preferred.
Certifications & Training
- ASQ Certified Technician, Inspector, or Auditor certification is highly desirable

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze quality trends and recommend items or areas that need further investigation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in both inspections and documentation.
