The Servicing Experiences Technology (SET) organization enhances Servicing Experiences by building smarter platforms with seamless automation and AI-driven insights- empowering Colleagues and Customers alike.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user stories and technical requirements, and design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and services.
- Design, develop, and enhance application components, RESTful APIs, and microservices while ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution design and architecture for assigned features and components.
- Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code, perform unit and integration testing, and support automation initiatives to improve software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining engineering standards, development best practices, and reusable components.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and cross-functional teams to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver features in an Agile environment.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while supporting application reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop a strong understanding of application architecture, business processes, and integrations with enterprise platforms and services.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation, DevOps practices, and application monitoring to improve development efficiency and operational stability.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing solutions, tools, and development practices to enhance application performance and developer productivity.
- Effectively communicate technical solutions, implementation approaches, and progress to team members and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience designing and developing cloud-native data engineering solutions and scalable data pipelines.
- Experience building batch and streaming data pipelines using technologies such as Python, PySpark, Spark, Dataproc, SQL, or equivalent distributed data processing frameworks.
- Experience developing on Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or AWS/Azure using services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, or equivalent cloud-native data services.
- Strong understanding of data ingestion, ETL/ELT, data transformation, data quality, metadata management, and canonical data modeling.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications and cloud platforms using REST APIs, event streaming, webhooks, messaging technologies, and batch data ingestion.
- Experience working with Apache Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, or similar messaging and event streaming platforms.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and working with relational and NoSQL databases to support analytical and operational workloads.
- Familiarity with CCaaS platforms and customer interaction data, including voice, chat, IVR, dialers, Agent Assist, STT/TTS, conversation transcripts, interaction events, and operational metrics.
- Experience supporting enterprise analytics through BigQuery, data marts, semantic datasets, data virtualization, or Metrics as a Service platform.
- Experience working in Agile environments with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrated ownership, curiosity, and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and reusable data platforms.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Java for developing backend services or data integration components.
- Exposure to data virtualization, semantic data layers, customer interaction analytics, or customer journey analytics.
- Familiarity with Generative AI, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, semantic search, or AI-enabled analytics.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Cloud Composer, or similar scheduling platforms.
- Experience modernizing enterprise data platforms and migrating data workloads to Google BigQuery or other cloud-native analytical environments.
