POSITION SUMMARY

The Preventive Maintenance Technician (PM Tech) position assists in the repair and maintenance of the College’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other internal systems such as doors, keys and locksets. The College is seeking PM Tech’s to assist our trade supervisors in the following areas: Carpentry, Plumbing, and HVAC. These duties include but are not limited to: working on door closers, hinges and doors, installing sheetrock, changing filters, greasing pumps, cleaning coils, changing belts, greasing and changing bearings, servicing pumps &amp; motors, repairing toilets &amp; sinks, and servicing/maintaining/tracking equipment and inventory relevant to the department. Uniforms and personal protective equipment will be provided and must be worn at all times. This position reports to the Director and Executive Director of Plant Operations.

Typical Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of tasks in the installation, repair and maintenance of:

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Department Head and/or Lead Faculty, Adjunct Faculty have as their chief duty the instruction of assigned college-level and/or learning support classes. Adjunct faculty teach classes that are scheduled during the day or evening, taught in a variety of formats, and at several different locations, including off-campus sites and local high schools. Responsibilities include: conducting classes using appropriate instructional practices, maintaining records of attendance, evaluating student performance on assignments, monitoring and communicating progress to students and the appropriate college employees, assigning midterm grades and final grades, completing mandatory training as needed, and performing other duties as assigned. Beyond teaching responsibilities, Adjunct Faculty are also obligated to comply with and support college policies as outlined in the Strategic Plan, the College Catalog, the Adjunct Faculty Handbook, and the Employment Agreement.

Organizational Culture - Embraces and promotes the College’s goals related to organizational culture and engagement. - Support the Math and Science Division’s efforts to utilize best practices in providing fair-minded services and support for students, faculty, and staff.
Position Requirements: An earned Master’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics from a regionally accredited institution or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics or Statistics.
 Preferred Qualifications: • College Teaching Experience and/or K12 Teaching Experience • Experience with alternative delivery instructional modes – hybrid, online, virtual • Available to teach in-person at Chattanooga State main campus
