The purpose of this position is to represent the Mental Health Authority in overseeing the course of care for a civilly committed individual while hospitalized, facilitate the least restrictive level of care for committee individuals as well as providing for the safety of the community. The services provided are defined in Oregon Statue 426 with further directions in Oregon Administrative Rule 309-033. This is an On-Call position assignment. Work hours are between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Hours will vary but should be around 8-24 hours per week. This position is remote but does require in person visits to hospital psychiatric units.
