As American Express transitions to a higher bank category (Cat 3/2), it leads to an uptick in regulatory scrutiny and increased regulatory expectations. As a result, we are forming a centralized Exam and Review Preparedness team to meet those heightened standards. The scope will include both external exams (i.e. FRB, OCC) as well as internal reviews (i.e. Quality Assurance, 2LOD, Internal Audits).
