Salary:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; $35/hour

Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Coursework in Anatomy &amp; Physiology, Biology, or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution</li>
<li>Minimum of three years’ professional teaching experience in Anatomy &amp; Physiology or related discipline.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of human body systems, physiology, and related laboratory practices.</li>
<li>Ability to integrate technology into classroom instruction.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.</li>
<li>Commitment to student success and workforce preparation.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid Tennessee driver’s license.</li>
</ul>
General Duties:
This adjunct instructional position will provide high-quality, competency-based instruction in Anatomy &amp; Physiology to prepare students for careers in healthcare and related fields.
Key Responsibilities – Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Deliver engaging lectures and demonstration sessions in accordance with the program curriculum and guidelines.</li>
<li>Develop and update lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.</li>
<li>Evaluate and record student performance, maintaining accurate attendance and grade records.</li>
<li>Maintain current knowledge of trends and developments in Anatomy &amp; Physiology and related healthcare fields.</li>
<li>Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students.</li>
<li>Collaborate with faculty and administration to improve instructional quality and student learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed in the classroom.</li>
<li>Contribute to program accreditation efforts and institutional assessment activities.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality of student records and institutional information.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Coordinator.</li>
</ul>
Physical Demands and Working Conditions (ADA Requirements):
<ul>
<li>Standing, walking, and demonstration in a classroom setting.</li>
<li>Lifting and moving instructional equipment, materials, and supplies (up to 40 lbs).</li>
<li>Operating a motor vehicle for travel within the college service area.</li>
</ul>
Background checks will be completed on all new hires. Instructors will be asked to sign a background release authorizing TCAT - McMinnville to complete a background check which will include the following: Sex Offender Registry, County Criminal &amp; Federal Criminal.
