Reporting to the Director, Operations and Systems, this role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our internal systems, software, and technology services. The ideal candidate for this role brings a service mindset to support a variety of people, projects, and processes and enjoys working across disciplines and technologies. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:&nbsp;Systems Administration&nbsp;<ul><li>Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls optimizing configuration of software applications, identifying and implementing enhancements, either directly or in collaboration with appropriate university partners.&nbsp;</li><li>Employ IT policies and best practices that ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our tools and provide first-rate technical support to staff, leveraging HKS IT and online resources as needed.</li><li>Maintain systems inventory and technical documentation, generate reports on performance/usage, ensure cost efficiency, and serve as the primary point of contact for application vendors.</li></ul>Salesforce Support&nbsp;<ul><li>In collaboration with the school’s CRM team, provide technical support, facilitate data imports, and make configuration updates.</li><li>Perform systems “admin” level tasks for the center, such as creating list views, performing data clean up, managing reports and dashboards.</li><li>Provide end-user training on universal tasks like logging activities, using report templates, and creating contacts.</li><li>Support Salesforce development projects through all phases of requirement gathering to user acceptance testing, deployment, and adoption.</li></ul>Asset Management<ul><li>Oversee IT Procurement, ensuring timely acquisition, distribution, and replacement of assets.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory for computers, phones, and IT accessories.</li><li>Support users with booking systems, conference room media/technology setup, and loaner equipment, collaborating with HKS IT and Media Services to resolve issues efficiently.</li></ul>Operational Support and Projects<ul><li>Support the center’s operational systems and workflows, including forms, ticketing system, SharePoint pages, file management, automation, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with HKS IT to set up and manage distribution lists and shared mailboxes.</li><li>Support IT projects across the center by informing requirements, reporting on progress, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders; provide recommendations on product, configuration, and design choices.</li><li>Support the adoption of emerging technologies—especially AI-powered tools—that improve productivity, collaboration, and service delivery across teams. Position Summary: The purpose of this job is to provide educational guidance and assistance to students by developing meaningful educational plans compatible with their career goals. This is accomplished through a consistent and continuous process built on frequent, accumulated personal contacts. This advisor will serve as a resource for faculty in the School of Business, other staff members and stakeholders as assigned. The position is expected to contribute to the success of the college through contributions to the strategic plan for the department and the institution.
Essential Functions: 
30% Facilitate student academic success, major selection, career development, and personal enrichment, through one-on-one, student focused advising emphasizing theoretical and practical methods of inquiry, guided reflection, engagement, assessment, and analysis. Assist students with understanding the analysis of their academic progress, the graduation plan for their major (including all course requirements), audits, how to navigate college procedures, and effects of changing a major in order to ensure completion of their degrees.
25% Support the execution of a comprehensive and holistic program of advising where students increase their personal agency and critical thinking skills, and apply both to their life choices in college and beyond. Advise students with academic difficulties, those contemplating withdrawal, and those at an academic crossroads. Provide relational advising for at-risk students, academic coaching, and resource referrals as needed. Provide information on career and /or transfer options. Provide the guidance students need to allow them to make informed choices about their academic path.
25% Collaborate and maintain positive working relationships with individuals and departments across the college. Support the faculty in the School of Business and serve as a resource for the Business students when faculty are unavailable. Prepare and present professional development for faculty and staff.
10% Work with the Assistant VP of Academics to maintain and create new articulation and transfer agreements for the School of Business with our area four year institutions.
10% Contribute to the success and development of the strategic plan of the College while supporting the vision of the Advising Department by serving on committees, participating in professional development, and implementing new initiatives.

This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction in multiple instructional delivery formats and participating in evaluation of student learning and assessment of course and program outcomes. Faculty will participate in service activities to support the College’s mission.
Job Duties:
Within a minimum workweek of 37.5 hours, faculty are generally expected to teach 15 semester credit hours and hold additional in-person and virtual office hours as defined in College policy. Faculty will teach a total 28-32 semester credit hours across Fall and Spring semesters. Teach evening, weekend, off-campus, dual enrollment, and distance-based courses as required. Provide appropriate and effective instruction. Create and contribute to a supportive learning environment for students within and beyond the classroom. Actively participate in development, evaluation, and review of program and curriculum, including assisting with or leading affiliation and accreditation efforts as applicable. Attend to administrative duties, including completion of required College trainings and timely submission of attendance reporting, progress reports, grades, survey responses and other required information. Contribute to College service, including Student-Focused Service and Mentorship (advising, career services, student organization sponsorship, etc.) and committee, taskforce, and project work at the College, division, and department level. Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates who possess a Master’s degree from an accredited institution and/or a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution and have outstanding experience in criminal justice and demonstrated contributions to the teaching discipline may be considered.

Collegiate-level teaching experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge and/or experience delivering effective instruction in a variety of formats, including asynchronous online, traditional on-ground, hybrid.
