Job Description The Transactional Law Clinics (“TLC”) provides community-oriented legal representation to transactional clients, including entrepreneurs, small businesses, social enterprises, non-profit organizations, community groups, and individuals and companies in the entertainment industry and creative fields. The Clinical Instructor (CI) is responsible for working with the Director and other staff members to operate TLC. The CI will guide students who are representing clients on a broad range of civil matters, including general business, corporate, intellectual property, community economic development, non-profit, entertainment, and other transactional legal areas. Job Description HMS MEDscience has an opening for an experienced team teacher for its high school biology-based enrichment program. In addition to teaching, this position will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of our programming for various partners and support the training of volunteers who join our teaching team. This position will directly support the work that advances the goals and vision of HMS MEDscience (<a href="http://hmsmedscience.org/mission" target="_blank">http://hmsmedscience.org/mission</a>). This team member will work effectively within a culture inclusive of individuals with diverse backgrounds, styles, abilities, and motivations, and appreciate and leverage the capabilities, insights, and ideas of all individuals. This role will focus primarily on MEDscience's clinical program but may have the opportunity to teach other program areas (including laboratory science, forensic science, and biomedical engineering) over time.&nbsp; 
 
Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Lead Teacher:&nbsp;Delivers interactive lectures, simulation cases, and debriefs that utilize innovative and unique pedagogy techniques aligned with program goals of critical thinking, problem solving, building teamwork, communication skills, developing personal health literacy, and continued interest in STEM fields. Collaborates with the MEDscience team to deliver schoolyear and summer programming. Instructs students in medical skills, terminology, and scientific literacy (training provided).</li><li>Program Coordination: Coordinates the programming for at least 20 partnering high school classroom teachers for the fall and spring semester courses: discuss logistics, individualize program curriculum calendar, provide program materials, monitor completion of required paperwork &amp; surveys.&nbsp; Coordinates within the MEDscience teaching team: establish roles for each session, responsible for the set-up and breakdown of session materials. Provides support and training as needed to partnering high school teachers, interns, and volunteers on the MEDscience curriculum and pedagogy. Supervise student survey administration ensuring 100% rate of completion.</li><li>Teacher Training:&nbsp;Trains newly hired teachers and volunteers on the curriculum, meeting ahead of class sessions to run training and observing classes to provide feedback.</li><li>Curriculum Development:&nbsp;Assists in refining written materials for pedagogy evaluation, and other documents needed for program expansion. Works with leadership and teaching team to develop and support curricular innovation and cultural competency in the classroom.&nbsp;</li></ul>

Position Description:<ul><li>Receive and prepare samples for Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) including fixation, embedding, ultrathin sectioning, critical point drying, sputter coating, high-pressure freezing, freeze substitution, immunogold labeling, and negative staining.</li><li>Perform imaging, data collection, and analysis for specific projects based on sample submission requests, either independently or in collaboration with clients. • Assist in the training and operation of TEMs, SEMs, and ancillary equipment for sample preparation. Troubleshoot imaging challenges and assist with image analysis as required.</li><li>Meet with investigators to help design experiments, determine the appropriate technologies, and identify optimal workflows for a wide variety of samples.</li><li>Oversee the maintenance of lab equipment, manage inventory by ordering supplies, prepare reagents, and maintain vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and lab protocols.</li><li>Conduct ongoing literature reviews to stay current with new procedures and emerging research.
