Job Summary: The College of Health Sciences at Alvernia University is seeking an adjunct, gross anatomy instructor to contribute to the Master of Medical Science – Physician Associate program. The successful candidate will primarily facilitate large group lectures and small group lab sessions of gross anatomy in the first-year curriculum of the professional phase of the Physician Associate program.Essential Functions:· Teaching in the Physician Associate Program;· Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of anatomy lecture and laboratory sessions within the Physician Associate Program, ensuring the curriculum aligns with the learning outcomes of the program;· Promote adequate standards of linguistic expression in writing and speech;· Carry out lectures, labs and responsibilities effectively;· Prepare examination questions as well as grades for a course or portion of a course;· Meet classes according to published schedule;· Commit to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity;· Promote Franciscan ideals and adherence to the Mission of the University as demonstrated by the University Ideal Characteristics.
