POSITION SUMMARY This position is a full-time faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction in Business.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground, online, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Teaching assignments are possible at any campus or site at which Nashville State instruction takes place. Within a minimum workweek of 37.5 hours, teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester and hold office hours. Work with Course Leads, Program Coordinator, and Dean to ensure consistent student experiences. Utilize the college’s learning management system to provide accurate and updated course materials to students.

This position provides educational leadership for a unit of the college dedicated to the development, management, and administration of workforce and noncredit training and learning activities. The Director reports to and works in concert with the Vice President of Partnerships, Workforce and Southern Campuses to achieve the mission of the office and to promote economic, community, and personal development for citizens throughout the college’s nine-county service area.

Minimum Qualifications
• A technical diploma or Associate degree in the Electrical field is highly preferred. Consideration will be given to a comparable combination of education, journeyman license, and directly related experience. • Must possess a high degree of knowledge of all areas involved in the diesel field • Must have a minimum of three years of full-time related work experience. • Must become an NCCER Certified Instructor. 
Preferred Qualifications
Prior teaching experience and NCCER certification.
