Job Purpose:&nbsp;To provide instructional assistance to the Respiratory Therapy Program, function as a full-time faculty member, and actualize the goals/standards of the program.
Essential Job Functions:

Required Qualifications:

General Duties: The Computer Information Technology Associate Instructor at the Northwest Correctional Complex is responsible for instructing rehabilitation and correctional students in vocational training to prepare them to re- enter the job market in the Computer Information Technology industry. This position provides theory and hands-on skills instruction to students in areas including, but not limited to troubleshooting, system architecture and protocols, software applications, programming, hardware assembly and repair, backup strategies, networking and configuring computers and related peripheral devices. The instructor must monitor, grade and evaluate individual students’ progress; maintain appropriate documentation of student progress; submit timely reports; and maintain close communication with correctional personnel and TCAT Northwest administration. POSITION SUMMARY This is a full-time faculty position responsible for preparing and delivering quality instruction on topics in Industrial Process Control Technology.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Teach courses via on-ground day and evening, hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned. Within a minimum workweek of 37.5 hours, teach a minimum of 15 hours and hold office hours. Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students. Submit updated course syllabi prior to the first day of class. Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the registrar. Provide academic advising to students with an emphasis on retention and success.
