ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryThis position is responsible for facilitating the implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems, including Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, and Medical programs at the Howmet-Waco facility. The role ensures compliance with safety regulations, conducts audits, and provides training to promote a safe and healthy work environment.&nbsp; &nbsp;Responsibilities&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul> <li>Partner with Waco line organization regarding Howmet Aerospace standards and procedures to achieve a zero-incident workplace.</li> <li>Assist in implementing the EHS BU plan in accordance with the incident prevention and environmental programs.</li> <li>Coordinate with other BU sites as needed; assist with corporate initiatives &nbsp;</li> <li>Assess risk associated with manufacturing processes and act to minimize risks.</li> <li>Determine corrective actions as a result of hazards identification.&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform risk assessments.&nbsp;</li> <li>Lead and/or facilitate location EHS teams as assigned.</li> <li>Educate line organization personnel to ensure compliance with all EHS regulatory requirements and Howmet Aerospace standards.</li> <li>Provide specialized EHS expertise and assist in developing location knowledge of EHS regulations and corporate standards.</li> <li>Experience required in defining, obtaining, and coordinating necessary EHS reports, permits, communications, EHS self-assessments (ASATs) and FMEA program for the location.</li> <li>Develop and update EHS written policies, procedures, programs and safe work instructions.&nbsp;</li> <li>Incorporate Human Performance principles into assigned programs.</li> <li>Develop and facilitate EHS training.</li> <li>Assist in coordinating fire and other emergency drills.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist the EHS SPAs with their programs and lead assigned programs to meet legal and other requirements.</li> <li>Provide a consistent presence on the production floor.
