Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an experienced Masters of Science level Weld Engineer, Material Scientist, Materials Engineer, or Metallurgist. to work in our Materials Properties Department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every other Friday off.&nbsp; You will report to the Department Manager. You will focus on research and development in joining and welding of both current and exotic materials. The role includes working with advanced manufacturing techniques such as welding-based 3D metal printing, casting, solidification, and thermomechanical processing.
