Mechanic Technician II

As a maintenance technician I, you will perform basic upkeep and assist other trade personnel with building and equipment maintenance (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, drywall, appliance, and furniture repair). You will conduct daily building walkthroughs to assess assets that require mechanical, electrical, or painting improvements, and coordinate with other areas of physical resources on all necessary repairs. Responsibilities include work order completion, problem area documentation, and the operation of equipment and machines such as trucks, forklifts, and hand and power tools. You will follow all relevant schedules and timelines, notify supervisors when emergencies occur or assistance is needed, and handle on-call situations as necessary. Additionally, you will comply with all SCAD and OSHA safety regulations and policies/procedures.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to manage emergencies quickly and effectively.
